My
name is Victor Manuel Santiago Rios; I was born on November 20th,
1990 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. I live
with my parents and my older sister who is studying to be a pharmacist. I went to 2 schools, my elementary school
Colegio de la Salle and high school Colegio Santa Rosa, by saying this I have a
lot of friends. During the high school
years, I created one of the best memories that I could possibly had. So many stories and moments that I have with
my bests friends, from having my first car to doing dances and plays, walking
to the mall, play pranks on each other and play cards. One of the things that I love to do is to
hang out with them, we could start the night in one place and end in someone’s
house to eat, play poker and tell jokes.
On my free time I like to go to the gym, play basketball, jog for a
while, go to the movies, visit my family, play Playstation 3 and to do internal
tourism with my girlfriend. My
girlfriend and me have gone around Puerto Rico numerous of times, traveling far
of to the east, west, south and central parts of the island. We love visiting towns, waterfalls, landmarks
and beaches throw thousands of pictures (at least she does). When I was young I wanted to be many things;
I wanted to be a marine biologist because I love the ocean and the creatures that
habits them, then I wanted to be a doctor (like every kid wanted to be) until I
met chemistry and I did not like it one bit, then I wanted to be an engineer
but pre-calculus messed that part too until I found out that I loved hotels,
when I was a kid we would stay in El Conquistador, Wyndham Rio Mar, San Juan
Hotel & Casino and I fell in love with the hotel. I know this career is for
me because I love to help people, I am respectful, responsible, I can work in
team, I know I have leadership and I can handle to work under pressure. I am
currently studying Hotel Operations in the University of Puerto Rico in
Carolina, and currently working at The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort in Rio
Grande and I love it. My goal is to get as much experience as I can, learning
every position that the hotel has to offer so I can be one day the Director of
Operations. I know the road is long and
is not going to be easy, but I know that I am going to make it.
