Unit 8 page 62 letter E #3 - Paraphrasing
It is common for small hospitality businesses to be short of capital.  It doesn't matter how much money they have reserve, they believe that the costs are too high.  Also, they expected that the marketing business would have gone better.  With that information, they need to create new ideas for marketing in order to succeed or else they will fail.

Normally, huge companies or businesses owners would need a specialist on external marketing in order to help the in-house staff and any other sources that needs assistance, not like small companies that are better off working with the in-house staff in order to not have costly fees.

Big companies or businesses can't work without a little help, from their point of view it is pointless to not have help from outside the company or business.
